We are delighted to announce that CBC Co-Founder Dr. Lata K. McGinn — who is also Professor of Psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and the President of the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (WCCBT) has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies— the organization’s highest distinction.

This award recognizes her extraordinary global scientific contributions, her outstanding and enduring impact in advancing pioneering research, training, and access to evidence‑based mental health care, and her decades of leadership in local, regional, and global dissemination and mental‑health capacity building.
